July 2003 Something terrible happened. We had a drive failure and stupid Hao only had old backups, really, really old backups(we have nightly backups now). Hao was unsure what to do because the old website needed work but was written strictly off of custom code. Hao was finally thinking of quitting. Michael convinced Hao to quickly make a makeshift home for the two websites off an open source message forum as the base. July 2004 Hao and Michael decide to do what they have talked about doing for years. Create KernAlumni.com! Users were migrated from the existing sites to KernAlumni.com The website went live 06/30/2004. 07/01/04 Brian Jones, Stockdale Class of 1994 joins team Brian brings too many things to the table to list. Having worked with Hao and Michael in the past at webBASIS.com as their lead, this combination knows how to work together.
